Bubble gum machine regular show12/1/2023 ![]() ![]() My favorite season 1 episode is “Just Set Up The Chairs” while “A Bunch of Baby Ducks” is one of season 2’s best. The good thing about the show is its 11-minute runtime so it won’t take too long to binge it. Picking episodes to watch is hard, because there’s a lot of great episodes and honestly, I haven’t seen all 253 episodes but I’ll pick an episode from each season. There’s also the humor in the running gags like Muscle Man’s “My mom!” joke, Mordecai and Rigby shouting “OOOOOH!” and Benson being enraged are just a few. The show doesn’t cater to just one audience either because there are jokes in there for kids and jokes for adults too. The humor on the Regular Show usually comes from Mordecai and Rigby trying to work on a task that turns into a huge problem for the entire crew. Thomas or Nikolai was another regular supporting character in later seasons. Even Muscle Man has a girlfriend named Starla but the most influential side character is Mr. Maellard who owns the park. Love interests are actually a big part of the show with Margaret and CJ, serving as Mordecai while Eileen is Rigby’s. In the show’s 8 seasons, there has been a revolving door of side characters so I’ll only be focusing on some of the most memorable. The last two characters are best friends, Muscle Man who is known for playing pranks and saying “My mom!” while Hi-Five Ghost is his partner-in-crime. Pops is the son of the park’s owner who is old but still young at heart and a really innocent character. Their boss is Benson, a hot-tempered gumball-machine whose right-hand man, Skips is an immortal yeti, known for his problem-solving skills. ![]() The two are alike in some ways but sometimes especially with their morals are vastly different. On the other hand, Rigby is immature and would rather have fun than work. Mordecai is a fun yet mature guy who usually gets tangled up in Rigby’s schemes. ![]()
